Making the Most of After Action Reviews (Faciliator Training)
Gain the skills to lead effective After Action Reviews (AARs)—a structured and evidence-based approach endorsed by the World Health Organisation (WHO), and a key component for incident review as defined by the new Patient Safety Incident Response Framework in Northern Ireland.
This full-day, interactive training will give you the tools, confidence, and insight to carry out both Formal and Informal AARs in line with best practice. Whether responding to patient safety incidents or proactively improving day-to-day performance, AARs provide a psychologically safe space to explore what happened, why it happened, and what can be learned.

-
A deep understanding of the four-question AAR method
-
Practical skills to facilitate formal AARs, including session preparation, group management, and reporting
-
Tools to embed informal, 5-minute AARs into daily team workflows for continuous learning
